How do you conduct your events and workshops?
We use the video conferencing platform Zoom, which you can download here, for all of our online classes. Events use Zoom Webinars and have more limited capabilities for attendees. Workshops and Immersives use Zoom Meetings.
What time zone do you use?
The time is listed on the registration page for its time zone.
Shoot! I can't make an event or workshop at the time it's held. Any help?
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
Gameplayarts reserves the right to cancel or postpone a course date or to change a course location at any time. Except in cases of force majeure, you will be entitled, at your discretion, to attend the course at the proposed later date or to receive a full refund of any course fees you have already paid to attend the course on the original date and/or location.
Gameplayarts reserves the right to cancel a purchase based on conduct violations at any time for violating our code of conduct. If you display threatening, abusive, or dangerous behavior toward us or any of our staff or personnel, then we reserve the right to refuse to allow you to continue any course or workshop. In such circumstances, you will not be entitled to a refund of any fees paid except as mandated by your state’s refund policy, and we reserve the right to prevent you from taking any course in the future if we feel that is necessary for the protection of our staff or personnel.
For postponed events, attendees can choose to keep their tickets until the event is rescheduled or have their tickets refunded. For canceled events, refunds will be issued automatically, both for events canceled prior to the start of the event and during.
You have the right to cancel your purchase, without any penalty or obligation, up to 72 hours before a talk and one week before a workshop or immersive program. Cancellation is effective when you provide a written notice of cancellation at the address of attendance. This can be done by our contact page.
All refunds will be paid within 30 days of withdrawal. Refunds will be less a registration fee if purchased on another platform such as Zoom or Eventbrite.
